Peiyi Nguee - Centre Director

Peiyi has always had a love for mathematics and enjoys the critical thinking linked with it. With more than 15 years of teaching experience in mathematics at various top MOE schools in Singapore and in an international school, she believes that the Mathnasium Method not only equips students with the right skills to understand and apply mathematical concepts but also helps them to recognise connections within the relevant topics to achieve great results. Her goal is to inspire a love for mathematics in children and to spark their curiosity and desire to learn beyond academic pursuits.

Graduated from the University of Queensland in Australia and the National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore with a major in Education, Peiyi is well versed in Mathematics Education with effective application of mathematics strategies. She has also extensive experience in entrepreneurship and training which has helped her in her career to date.

In her spare time, she enjoys painting and cooking. She is also a firm believer in lifelong learning and is always finding interesting courses and seminars to attend.

Salman Shoaib - Executive Director

Salman believes that everyone can be good at maths, much in the same way that all of us can speak at least one language really well. Having studied and taught maths at university level, he realised quite early that there are proven tools, techniques and methods that make the subject easier and more fun - the key is to teach in a way the student understands and thrives, using the right materials. That's why he became interested in Mathnasium's approach, with a rigorous focus on assessment, customised learning programs and making mathematics more fun and intuitive.

He holds a BA degree from Brown University (magna cum laude) and an MPhil degree from the University of Cambridge. He has lived in Singapore for the past 10 years with children who have attended United World College (Dover Campus). His son will be joining Yale University, USA this August majoring in Mathematics, and he has a daughter who is also at Yale majoring in English Literature.

Isaac Lim - Assistant Centre Director

Having been in the education industry for over 5 years covering both local and international syllabus, he is well-experienced and possesses strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and teaching content. He wants to inspire his students to not only love mathematics but also to develop critical thinking and mathematical problem-solving competency.

Isaac graduated from National University of Singapore with B.Sc. Major in Statistics. He also held many key leadership positions during his university days.
