FACT: math is everywhere... and it comes in pretty handy during the holidays! Case in point: this awesome video featuring British mathematician Sarah Santos' math formula for wrapping presents! Sarah's formula (at about 3:14—pi minute!) ensures that you use just the right amount of wrapping paper and tape. While the formula works best on square-shaped boxes (so patterned wrapping paper lines up correctly), per the video's narrator, it can help you save paper and tape when wrapping rectangular-shaped boxes as well. Give it a shot and let us know what you think!
